A proto-node is a community that has committed to preparing for Integral before the software exists. Registration is not a legal or financial commitment. It is a public declaration of intent and an entry point into the development community.
What proto-nodes do during Phase 0: study the white paper and development guide, practice CDS-style governance in existing decision-making, map what goods and services they could produce and consume within the system, connect with other proto-node communities, and provide real-world feedback to the development process.
To register as a proto-node, introduce your community in the #proto-nodes channel on Discord or open a registration issue on GitHub. Include: community name and location, brief description, primary contact, and what draws you to Integral.
